It is with utmost pleasure that I present the projection River Of Crows this month as the Artistic Coordination of this wonderful public art piece is a dear friend of mine, Richard Tetrault.
Richard has been instrumental in creating and working with community works for years. Vancouver is very lucky to have such an awesome Artist in our midst. Richard and I have worked together as fellow Board members for the Eastside Culture Crawl and have developed and implemented the Studio 101 Art Education program.
I have also travelled to Mexico and Cuba with Richard and the La Raza Art team where they have created other murals and art installations of “the North”. Hope some of you will be able to walk by the window tomorrow to share in the projection relating to RIVER OF CROWS. I’m sure the team involved with this community public art project feel as proud of the work as I am being able to share it with you all!
